ABA Bank opens its 6th provincial branch in Cambodia

On Saturday, 30th November 2013 ABA Bank celebrates the opening of its 6th provincial branch in Cambodia. Sihanoukville branch inauguration took place with the official license giving and ribbon cutting presided over by H.E Kim Vada, Director General of Supervision Department of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), and H.E. Sbong Sarath, Preah Sihanouk Province Governor.

During his speech H.E. Kim Vada in particular stated, “The current condition of ABA continues to operate in a safe and sound condition… Thus, I hope the opening of the Bank's new branches in 2013, especially this (Sihanoukville) branch, is a response to customer's need of financial services. This achievement will also help the bank to get closer and provide more convenient services to its customers. Simultaneously, the bank is in compliant with NBC's prudential ratios, such as solvency ratio, liquidity ratio and large exposure loan ratio.”

The branch is situated at the heart of the city’s business district (131, Ekreach Street, Sangkat 02, Khan Mittapheap) and will be providing a wide access of high quality financial services and full range of banking products including deposits, loans, remittance, cards and more, catering the needs of fast growing business activities in the region. 

The opening of Sihanoukville branch demonstrates the banks strong growth and commitment to providing accessible banking services throughout Cambodia and being true to its core of providing “A partnership you can trust”.

Sihanoukville branch is the third provincial branch of ABA Bank launched in 2013 (together with Takeo and Takhmao branches). Opening of one more branch is planned for the nearest future.
